Carrie George (pictured on the right) created her blue cornflower artwork in her Creative Pursuits class and submitted it for a contest. Our community voted and Carrie’s design won. Her winning artwork was turned into a custom shirt by Dr. Richard Bedlack (pictured on the left), a neurologist and researcher in the field of ALS, which he premiered at ALS Nexus.
Dr. Richard Bedlack, director of the ALS clinic at Duke University, coined the term "more than motor neurons." People living with ALS are so much more than their disease!
